MIM # 328 Background Shadows

Have a great week my friends...have I told you that I have a special friend coming today to stay with me for a couple of days?  Nancy from Scrapper at Heart and her husband are flying in this morning and staying for a couple of days with me before they meet up with their son and daughter-in-law who live in Seattle.  I am so excited to see her again, we first met a couple of years ago in Seattle.  We met on the Seize the Birthday Challenge, she is our awesome manager who keeps our lives in order!

Anyway I am thrilled to have her with me for a couple of days, the Husbands are going to golf, so we can talk and maybe even get inky!

MIM ~ Sentiment Windows

This week, Dawn is challenging us to use a sentiment stamped on the inside of our card as part of the design on the card front, by utilizing a die cut window!  You can go HERE to watch her video.

7th Anniversary Traditional Gift ~ Wool by Heather

I used the leaves she recommended , a berry branch from Autumn Pumpkins and a sentiment from Falling Leaves.

From Black and White to Color MIM # 260

I loved the MIM and Danielle's video  HERE.  

I wasn't trying to be too fancy, but I think I did make it harder for myself by trying to mask some of the images...it is what I had pictured in my mind...you know how that goes!

It took me a few tries to get it right, after I did this one, I did one other, more like the one Danielle did in her video and just stamped away...oh and then I forgot what I was doing and colored in the WHOLE thing!  Well, shoot, forget about the black and white!!

so this is the THIRD card made for this challenge..LOL...this time I stamped, then cut out and then only colored in the pieces on the inside of the cute...well, that was much easier!
