MIM Color Isolation

Ashley has the video up at Capture the Moment showing us a Color Isolation technique.
I used water color paper and stamped the flowers and leaves with soft stone ink.
I die cut the flower (Vintage Linens) and the leaves (Bold Blossoms) and water colored them after stamping the outline images.
My sentiment is from happy Hydrangea stamped in Raspberry fizz, then again in versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder.
The card face is mounted on raspberry fizz paper.
Can you tell I am getting ready for Mother's Day?
Sadly my mom passed away 9 years ago, but my church always has a big Mother's day luncheon with guest speakers and I sell my cards...so I need a lot of Mother's Day cards!
Have a great week everyone!!

Seize the Birthday Nov 5 NO topping

Time for another challenge and this time there is NO TOPPING!
I randomly sponged on some fine linen ink over a new stencil from MFT (new to me!) called Wonky chevrons.  My stamps are from Vintage Linen, the leaves are PTI: Leave it Be.
the sentiment is from Altenew: Label Love
I really love the look of the black background with white sentiment.  In this case the paper is white and everything else is black ink! (versus using embossing powder!)

Thanks for taking a look and for making a birthday card and linking it up to the Challenge!

Color Me with Team Hayley

I chose Team Haley's color scheme for my first try
Wow, the picture sure came out brighter than real life.
I used PTI Berry sorbet and Enchanted Evening.
I made the plaid using Plaid Builders and the flowers are PTI Vintage Linen.
You can go to Color Me to play along with this challenge.

We are back into the 100's friends, good time to just stay indoors and get inky, wouldn't you  say?

Thanks for stopping by and spending a minute or two with me!

MIM # 219 Texture Kissing

is up and Lizzie has the video showing texture on your stamped image by using the kissing technique.

I used "Bloomers" and "Embellishments" for the "kiss"!
the leaves are from Vintage Linen and you can barely tell, but I used Polka Dot Basics kissed to the leaves, the bottom leaf at least shows a few dots!
I wanted to add that I used the "doodling" technique to frame my images!
Thanks for taking a look!
Have a good week!
