CASology + Color Throwdown + CAS Mix Up May challenge

This card is going in CASology (# 196) as the cue word is "move"... well, butterflies are definitely on the move!  And I used the colors from the Color Throwdown #391 and one more friends... the CAS Mix Up May Challenge
I used this gorgeous butterfly from the recent Stamp of Approval Collection.  This stamp is a Gina K design and a lovely set. The little stamps are from a different set from Sugar Pea Designs called Enchanted Garden.  Those sets will be available later in the summer or fall.
I water colored the butterflies with distress inks:  fossilized amber, tumbled glass, spun sugar, and ripe persimmon.
I stamped the butterflies with versatile and then clear embossed them.
It is not very often I make one card for two challenges but WOW I am on a roll with THREE cahllenges but I am with my friend and she recommends challenges for me!
I totally CAS'ed Allison Cope's card using this butterfly...different colors, but WOW was hers ever impressive!  she is on the Stamp Nation Design team and they came up with awesome cards using this SOA "Beautiful World".
Thanks for stopping by!

CAS Mix Up April Challenge

I am playing along again with the CAS mix Up Challenge...
I took a Winnie & Walter harlequin stencil and laid down three DI on the stencil, then I spritzed it with water and laid it onto my mixed media paper.
I pulled a piece of paper from my stash that had Inka Gold Old Gold and some ink on it and die cut a HA delicate butterfly fancy.
I embossed my sentiment.
Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Copics Class Day 8 a butterfly

I used a Crafter's Workshop stencil " Flower Piecing" with Rangers Texture Embossing paste.
I colored another butterfly with copics: BG 13, BG 23, BG 49 and Y15
the sentiment is from PTI Keep It Simple:  Thinking of You.
This class is keeping me busy!
I hardly have time to do anything but color!
But it is all good, I love it!!

Colour Me # 14 & Card Concept #7

I know this looks really red almost, but it is definitely an orange.
I sponged the flowers from a stencil, starting with bright orange zest
and then going with a lighter hand and less of the ink for the remaining flowers.
I am entering this in both the colour Me # 14

I just wanted to show you the card...I was having some editing issues and it would not let me crop or edit this card, so I started all over, but truly the colors are what you are asking for...more pumpkin than red!

Either way, I do like the card and using one color is pretty striking!
stamps:  PTI Wet Paint, Butterfly Dreams
ink:  PTI orange zest
stencil:  MFT spring flowers

Friends, I am going to be out of the craft room for almost a week
My husband and I are going to a practice round of the Master's Golf in Augusta, Ga,
That is just one day, then we are going down to Savannah and spend a couple of days, then head to Charleston, SC for another couple of days before we drive up to Atlanta and see some of the sights and explore that city.
So I will be able to play a little bit more today, but if I don't check back in, have a good week and I will see you all sometime during Easter Week!

Heart Hugs,
Colleen
