Freshly Made Sketches # 186 & Colour Me # 71

I needed another Baby shower card...this time it is a little girl!
I couldn't resist the Ellie & Friends Elephant from Mama Elephant again and the umbrella from WPlus9 Pretty Patches Umbrella which I did some selective die cutting to make the handle a wee bit longer!
Once again I have some falling hearts...(I did just order a raindrop stencil!)
This card is going in two challenges!!  I know surprise, surprise...I can handle it if one is a sketch and one is a color challenge...ha ha!
the first is a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches # 186

And the second challenge is Colour Me # 71
Thanks for taking a look!

Colour Me # 61

I tired another stencil using Jennifer McGuire's technique...lay the stencil down and use a white pigment ink to daub over the stencil.  Then let it dry thoroughly and using the same stencil move it off set just a bit and use the same color ink as the paper...you end up getting what looks like three colors on your card when in fact you only used two inks.

The Crafters workshop stencil Mimi Flower Piecing, PTI orange zest paper and ink, HA white unicorn pigment ink, Keep it Simple Dies, PTI terra cotta tile paper, Big Hugs die, DCW gold thread.
thanks for taking a look!
We have a gorgeous day...almost 70 degrees and beautiful blue skies!

Colour Me # 10 and Card concept # 5

First up Card Concept with a color inspiration and the one liner is really die cut using PTI chocolate brown, NOT black!
stamps:  PTI Autumn Pattern Pieces, Be Happy
inks:  chocolate brown, limeade ice
paper:  PTI white, limeade ice, chocolate brown
This next card is for Colour Me # 10 and they are asking for a monochromatic card using green.
stamps:  Meadow Greens, Botanical silhouettes
ink:  Distress Inks: peeled paint, shabby shutters
twine from the Twinery

I hope you will join in these challenges and play along, especially if you like the color green!  this seems to be a popular color with challenges this week...is it because St. Patrick's day is coming up?

Colleen

Colour Me!!!

Edited:  Challenge closes at Noon EST...I am Pacific time, so I missed it by several hours...I will try the next one and be more on top of things!!

There is a new Colour Challenge in town friends...go HERE to check it out.  The colors this week are:  Island indigo and neutrals...

I don't have island indigo, but I did use a HA  cornflower blue and kraft and brown for my neutrals.
this was a free set from PTI called Ruby Reprise.
Thanks for taking a look!
Happy Monday...all the grandkids are back in school and life will be somewhat "normal".
I spent all day Saturday in the gym watching my 10 year old grand daughter play in a volleyball tournament and they won the silver division!  Yahoo for her!
On Sunday I watched two games of a volleyball tournament for my 12 year old grand daughter and they won all their matches too!!

Have a great week!
Heart Hugs,
Colleen
