Welcome to a new CAS Christmas Challenge using sparkle & shine as our theme.

There are some amazing cards from the design team.

this is what I used:

CAS CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE SEPTEMBER REMINDER~ PLAID

CAS CHRISTMAS SEPTEMBER CHALLENGE ~ PLAID

Hi friends!  This month I am hosting the CAS Christmas Challenge and I thought using plaid on our Christmas cards would be fun!

I used two stencils to mask off the space I wanted for the plaid background.

First I used a Taylored Expression Rectangle stencil, but I wanted it a little smaller, so I added some masking tape to all the sides, then I placed the Catherine Pooler Just Plaid Slimline Stencil over the top and used CPD inks:  melon ice in center and deck the halls for the outer edge.

My little bird is from The Greetery:  Robin and Wren

The branch is from The Greetery: Merry Sprigs 

The sentiment is from HA November Monthy Card Kit: Christmas

JULY CAS CHRISTMAS REMINDER ~ POINSETTIA

We are half way through the month with our reminder cards with a poinsettia for the CAS Christmas Challenge hosted by Linda.

This stamp set is from PTI called Framing Florals Christmas, the background die is from The Greetery : Nordic Frames.

Friends we are now more than halfway to Christmas, so I hope this is challenging you to get your Christmas cards done NOW!

CAS Christmas July ~ Poinsettia

Our CAS Christmas Challenge is brought to us by Linda this month and she wants to see your poinsettia on your Christmas card!

the poinsettia is from The Ton:  Holiday Love, I colored it up with prisma colored pencils and a little gamsol for blending.  My sentiment is from The Greetery.  I stamped the poinsettia with soft stone ink on soft stone cardstock for a little background interest.

Sandma's handmade cards is our guest this month and she has an awesome card for your inspiration!

CAS CHRISTMAS CARD JUNE CHALLENGE REMINDER

I used the Hero Arts November 2020 Card Kit for my images.  I think this snowman is so cute, I nestled him among some snowbanks.

CAS CHRISTMAS CARD JUNE CHALLENGE ~ SNOWMAN

Welcome friends to our JUNE CAS CHRISTMAS CARD CHALLENGE brought to us by Hideko and SNOWMEN!  I love snowmen, don't you?  They are like snowflakes, no two alike, which is a good thing because then I can have lots of snowmen stamps and they are all different!  *wink *wink

My stamp is from:  Whipper Snapper:  Last Man Standing!

I used a Poppy Stamps die frame called "Let it Snow" Frame

and then I stamped and colored in the snowman and the two wonky trees.

Halfway through this year, so we best kick it up a notch and make more Christmas cards before the time is upon us!  Please check out the inspiration from our guest Steph and the design team and I will look forward to seeing your card in the gallery!

CAS Christmas May Challenge ~BERRIES & FOLIAGE

Hi friends, so good to see you!  I hope we are helping you get your Christmas cards made through the year!  This month Christine is our hostess and she wants to see berries and foliage on our Christmas cards!

I used The Greetery:  Budding Beauties stamped and die cut twice for a fuller bouquet.

I also used The Greetery Fit to be Tied Bow

CAS Christmas February ~ JOY

Welcome friends to another CAS Christmas February challenge.  Linda is our hostess and she is looking for JOY on her card this month!

I had this piece already made with clouds and embossed with the circle sitting in a box on my desk, but I don't know what it is called as I don't own it!  The JOY die is from Catherine Pooler Designs Winterhaven collection but the banner and rest of the sentiment is from Sunny Studios Little Angels set.  I colored her up with copics.

CAS Christmas ~ November Warm & Cozy

Welcome to our LAST CAS Christmas Challenge of 2019!

It is NOT too late to join us this month for Trina's challenge of making a card with cue words:  

 warm and cozy

When I was at the retreat in Nashville, Indiana, we went into the delightful town that had TWO stamping stores!! I had not found anything in my stash for another warm and cozy card, so I was on the lookout for something that would catch my eye and I found it!  This is a Hero Arts Stamp & cut set called Winter Hearth.  I had to do some fussy cutting with some of the items but that didn't take long and it came together rather quickly.

CAS Christmas September with Nance ~ TREATS

Hi friends, today Nance is our hostess and she is asking us to make a Christmas card with TREATS

on the card for our September CAS Christmas Challenge!

I pulled out an older PTI stamp that was from a SAF called Scent - imentals.  It has a very cute gingerbread man with a perfect sentiment.

 I masked a heart and inked it up, then attached my gingerbread with a heart. 

Isn't that "scentiment" perfect?

While I had the stamp out I decided to make a few more, just to add to my stash because it seems I never have the right amount of Christmas cards, I always find one more person I need to give one to.
