CAS CHRISTMAS SEPTEMBER CHALLENGE ~ PLAID

Hi friends!  This month I am hosting the CAS Christmas Challenge and I thought using plaid on our Christmas cards would be fun!

I used two stencils to mask off the space I wanted for the plaid background.

First I used a Taylored Expression Rectangle stencil, but I wanted it a little smaller, so I added some masking tape to all the sides, then I placed the Catherine Pooler Just Plaid Slimline Stencil over the top and used CPD inks:  melon ice in center and deck the halls for the outer edge.

My little bird is from The Greetery:  Robin and Wren

The branch is from The Greetery: Merry Sprigs

The sentiment is from HA November Monthy Card Kit: Christmas

Please check out the design team because they have more amazing inspiration for you using plaids in your Christmas card design!  And our special guest Melanie has an amazing card as well you can find her HERE

              Heart Hugs,
