Seize the Birthday with Teal and White!

We have a color challenge for our birthday cards this time over at Seize the Birthday.

We would like to see Teal and white on your birthday card!

I plastered my card with lots of fun balloons and added a big sentiment to top it off.  

If you think you see a little smudge in the top left balloon, it is NOT a smudge, I was adding some shimmer and shine and all of a sudden a big glob came out of my shimmer pen *GASP!!...I tried spreading it around, but it soaked through the paper I think!! 

 

So our topping is for Teal and White...I hope you will join us this challenge and play along!

MIM #313 Mask & Stack

Wasn't the little cat so cute over at the PTI blog?

Betsy masked and stacked those cute little kittens in the video for the MIM.

I tried the cute little fox from Hello Foxy and it didn't turn out so great...take a look:

 I realized that every fox on the right as you look at the picture, has a tail in the face!  so clearly I could not start in the center and go both ways and mask

so then I started at the right and masked and moved to the left.  Well, that just looked boring to me, so I bagged that idea and moved onto the balloons..which turned out fine, just not as cute as stacked kittens!  I did cut out the balloons by hand so that I wouldn't have the white space between each stamped image.

Welcome to another Seize the Birthday Challenge!!

We have a topping this time and it is to have a balloon on your birthday card!!

 

I die cut a balloon and used the negative to sponge on my colors for all the balloons.  I used distress oxide inks for the sponging.

The die is from Birthday Cheer 

and the rest of the sentiment was stamped from Ways to Say: Birthday
