Hi friends, Welcome to another Seize the Birthday Challenge!
Lindsey is our hostess looking for signs of spring on our birthday cards!
Here in the PNW Tulips is definitely the sign that spring is in the air...along with rain and winds!
It seems as soon as the tulips pop out with all their vibrant colors, the spring rains also come and beat them down! I have two cards for you today!
This card was made for my friend's Mom's 90th birthday!
And since I was pulling out tulip stamps, I ran across this one and I believe it is designed by Betsy as well as the one above.
Our Special Party guest is Deepti and you can find her spring inspiration card HERE.
Please check out the rest of the design team to see a sign of spring in their part of the country.

These are both SO pretty Colleen! I love the blue pitcher with the yellow Tulips and smaller blue flowers...just BEAUTIFUL!! (Was this by any chance what you sent my mom?? I haven't seen all her cards yet...they still keep coming and she's just been so tickled with ALL the homemade cards!!) Your 2nd card is just as beautiful, and I just pulled out the Tulip Time stamp set yesterday and made a card...I'd forgotten how pretty that stamp set is! Lovely, lovely cards my friend! Hope you have a wonderful and blessed Easter!! Hugs. :0)
Both cards are beautiful. I really like the tulips on the 2nd card and the crimped frame die cut shows them off beautifully. I have this set but have never used it. You have inspired me to get it out and play with it. Have a wonderful weekend.
Yellow tulips in the blue pitcher are gorgeous. The addition of those blue flowers makes it look like a florist created the bouquet. The second card is so beautiful too and I love that fancy bow. I know what you mean about the wind and rain. It has been relentless here this year too. Have a Happy Easter.
Love the tulips on both of these cards! Perfect for the challenge
Beautiful cards, Colleen, especially the first one - I love that blue and yellow colour combination!
Two beautiful tulips cards Col!! Love the brigtht blue and yellow together on your first card. The colours are so fun! And your second card is pretty with the different colours of tulips. So pretty against the soft sponging in the background. xx
Love each one! The first one is bold and beautiful and definitely makes me think of the poor people of Ukraine. I love the cobalt blue color of the vase and the pretty yellow flowers. Your tulip card is just as pretty! That is one flower I don't have! Great cards, Colleen!
Two gorgeous tulip cards, Col! A perfect way to welcome Easter! Hope you have a blessed one.
Both are awe-inspiring and outstanding. You have out done yourself for this challenge.
Both your tulip bouquet cards are gorgeous, Col! Such a lovely spring decoration for someone's home that will never fade away! That vase design especially appeals to me. I hope you had a lovely Easter. Houseful here and tons of fun to all be together! Hugs, Darnell
Happy Birthday to your mama!!! These cards are gorgeous! Tulips don't grown in FL but I remember them from my childhood in the midwest.
Two gorgeous cards Colleen, so colourful and bright and full of the Spring feel, Cathy x
They’re both fabulous cards, Colleen. Tulips are the ultimate spring flower 🌹
Two beautiful cards, my friend. Particularly love the second cards colors.
I love both of these - your bold & bright colours are fabulous on the white backgrounds and perfect for spring.
