Seize the Birthday ~ Vellum or Acetate

Ho Ho, get your party on people!!

The challenge at Seize the Birthday is to use acetate or vellum!

I couldn't resist doing another shaker card, especially since I purchased the "Fuse" tool which makes it so easy to seal up all those sprinkles to shake!

The cute little monkey is from PTI "Tremendous Treats", I guess his arm is hiding behind all the string (*wink!)

Seize the Birthday~ Arrows or Hearts!

We are getting close to Valentines day...only two days away so we thought it would be fun to make use of arrows or hearts in our birthday card this challenge.

I really hit the jackpot with this card...had this Impression Obsession Heart die that has never been used, and the Heidi Swapp arrow stamp had never been used either!

And this is a SHAKER CARD!!  You get all those fun hearts from this die, although I did add some fun sequins to shake along with the many hearts from the die.

Just so happens my daughter's birthday is Feb 19th, I am thinking that is pretty close to Valentines day, so I think I may use this card for her!

The inside says:  OH HAPPY DAY and that is an Impression Obsession stamp called Love Never Fails.

 

 

The topping is HEARTS  and /or ARROWS

Seize the Birthday ~ No topping!

Thought I would try another shaker card.

I used my BFF's stamp set from Stamps of Life:.

The candles in this set are BIG and so awesome to play with.

I decided this could take center stage! the rest of the shaker card was made using the dies from the Make it Market Kit:  Shakers & Sprinkles.

 

Since this is a NO TOPPINGS Challenge this time, you can do anything you want!

This cup of "java" is from PTI's Scent-imentals stamp set.

I made it into a shaker card!

The pattern paper is a new pack I bought today,

Echo Park "Summer Bliss"

I finally had success with the shaker card because I used fun foam that was sticky on only the back side...therefore, my little sprinkles inside do NOT stick to the sides as it gets shaken!

Seize the Birthday ~ Monochormatic Yellow

Hi everyone, this Seize the Birthday is all about Yellow!!  We are asking for a monochromatic card using yellow.  As always you can go without this topping and make "Anything Goes"!

The day before I went on a 12 day vacation, I received my Shakers & Sprinkles Kit from PTI.  I am excited to play with it a little more!  I used lemon tart, harvest gold and summer sunrise.  My sequins are random yellows.  I hope you will join us with this challenge.  Please check out the other cards by the design team!  To play along go to Seize the Birthday.
