Merry Monday # 273 Red & Turquoise Christmas Card

Welcome friends to the Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge!  I know it seems like we just put Christmas away (I guess we really did!), but trust me when I tell you that making these cards now will be a blessing come next November when you are busy busy busy with Christmas activities!

I LOVED this color inspiration that Marcia chose for us and I know poinsettias are not normally cut flowers in a vase, but I so wanted to use these new to me Sunny Studios Petite Poinsettias and the new PTI Flower Power stamp set.  so I combined the two and I love it!  You cannot see all the shine and sparkle on the flowers, but let me tell you, I really winked it up with the Stella!! Tthat cute sentiment is from another PTI set called Winter Village.

A really simple card, almost one layer except I had to add some dimension for a couple of the flowers!!

Merry Monday # 257 Tag with bling and dies!

Hi friends!

Today Sue is looking for a tag decorated with lots of bling and dies for the Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge!

I used PTI Shape Up: Mitten for my tag and added another piece on top so you could see the mitten.
I used SSS falling snowflake stencil with embossing paste.
Isn't the picture gorgeous for your inspiration?

Merry Monday #243 Create a Winter Scene

The Christmas Challenge at Merry Monday this week is creating a Christmas Scene.

Kathy selected a wonderful inspiration photo.

I used PTI Winter Village and had a lot of fun making the little scene.

MIM 267 Assembly Line "Tag" Making

Laurie has a video up HERE at the new Make It Monday showing how she makes multiple cards at one time.  I thought this was a perfect technique for making tags also.

These stamps are from Winter village and I made 6 of them, pretty quick and easy!

  

I must give this a try though, because I think that little mouse is so cute! 

Oh friends, I leave early tomorrow morning and even though I look forward to sun and warmth, I am going to miss these challenges and making cards and tags.

I will have my tablet, so will try to keep up on visiting each of you!
