Make It Monday #268: Double-Layer Tags

So happy to see Dawn back creating, if only for a short time.

I know she is going through her own health crisis now and praying a solution and decision can be made that will help her to heal.

I used the Tags # 8 for my double Layers.

My bottom layer was a piece that I had made from an MIM a while ago where I brushed on two colors in opposite directions to give it a linen texture look.  My What the Doodle: Ornament was die cut from a scrap piece of water colored paper.

I used Karola's tag for inspiration and pulled out this little stamp a friend gave me from Deep Red called Holiday Candles!

This is a perfect tag stamp!  And so easy to color with copics, then added liquid pearls for the flame and the berries and a little WOS on the holly leaves!

25 Days of Christmas Tags ~ DAY 25!!

The last Day of Tracey's 25 Days of Christmas Tags and today I am listening to Christmas music on the radio!!

I was inspired by many tags from Jilli Bean Soup, Jill's especially touched my heart with the church.  I inked up PTI Holiday Home and die cut the small church, perfect size for this tag.

 

I may just make a few more...that little house with the trees is really cute too!!

Today though I need to finish up a big project...making wooden spool ornaments that I saw last year on Amy Sheffer's blog.  

I am making about 70 of them to give as gifts at our annual Women's Bible Study Christmas Luncheon.  My kitchen is a mess, I must get it cleaned up, we are having our Thanksgiving Feast on Sunday!

I used Laura Pryor's tag for inspiration.  I used the same Li'l Inker bells and did a little water coloring on my tag.

This is my last tag for playing catch-up, so tomorrow is Day 25 and the last day of this challenge.  It has been fun, would have been better had I not been gone for 10 days in the middle, but I persevered and got 'er done!

for sure I am going to make more of these cute little tags, so simple.

Last year I made one kind of tag for each grandchild and did NOT write their names on the tags (I had a cheat sheet though to tell whose tag belonged to whom!).  These would be very easy to mass produce a couple for each child.

I am using Tracey's tag for my inspiration.

I used Clearly Besotted Pretty Poinsettia stamp and die for the flower along with white embossing powder and some PPP silver sequins.

I used some Verve sentiments from "Beyond Measure"...so many awesome stamps in that set and great sentiments.  I loved this idea and it goes so fast to make a whole bunch of them! I might go back and make some more round ones, I love their gold hole tag, so elegant looking!

I colored with copics, added polka dots with the Pico embellisher and some BoBunny glitter sugar for the top of the stocking.

25 Days of Christmas Tags ~ Day 15 Lawn Fawn

Day 15 of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags Friends!!  Lawn Fawn is the sponsor this day and I loved Yainea tag, she used the cute little snowmen couple from Ready, Set, snow set.

I used PTI's Tinsel & Tag Snow tag die and colored it with distress ink using a masking paper for the hills in the background behind the little snow people. I mounted it on a Lil' Inkers Stitched circle die.  I loved her heart with vellum that she white embossed with the for you, so I used an old MFT heart die and cut it out of red dot paper and again with the vellum.  I have 5 of these ready to be used!  What great inspiration!

Hi Friends, I think I will be jumping all around to make as many tags as I can before it shuts down.  I am back at current and working my way down to where I left off...there may be some gaps, but I will try to fill them. This is featured on day 19 HERE

It has been forever since I have seen Melissa Bickford. I loved her Concord and 9th tag where she used some plaid paper and a sweet snowflake.

I pulled out a PTI paper pack called Holiday Plaid and a die from Lil Inkers.
