MIM # 300 Building Wreaths

The MIM this week is Building a Wreath.  Melissa has a great video showing how she builds her wreath. I used the Spooky Smiles stamp set and the Rustic wreath cut out of black polka dot paper.
This is Melissa's card

Yeah for NBUS Challenge #12!!

Our friend Darnell is hosting the 12th NBUS Challenge and it ends on October 4,
she is encouraging us to use all of our NEVER BEFORE USED SCHTUFF!
I wanted to try Jennifer McGuire's SILHOUETTE STAMPING with a PTI stamp called Autumn Scarecrow.

I stamped the scarecrow and colored him in with a memento black marker;  I used a versamark pen to go over all of him and then clear embossed him. I used oxide inks to blend in the background colors,
Thanks Darnell for encouraging us to use from our stash never before used stuff!!
Darnell, I do not need to win a prize, thank you friend!

MIM ~ #227 Focal Clusters

The picture in my head turned out better than the actual card...does that ever happen to you?  I pulled out an old favorite of mine called Fall Elegance.
I really wanted the pumpkins to be sitting on top of a pile of leaves, didn't quite achieve that, but it is what it is.
The sentiment along the side is from the Tiny Treats:  Halloween, you can see I also used the die from Embroidered Borders.

I like the clustered look, I may try this with some Christmas cards!

My 94 year old Dad had a fall last Monday.
He climbed into a raised bed to pull out his last tomato stake.
Well the stake broke and he fell backwards out of the one raised bed, and landed on his left flank onto another raised bed.
We got him to the hospital and it was a cracked rib.
He came home and my brothers and I were nursing him.
He was in a lot of pain by Friday, so back to the ER, admitted him, and he is still there.
We were hoping he would get transferred to a skilled nursing facility, it hasn't happened yet.
Maybe tomorrow.
I am worn out!

Having fun on the last day of Copic Card Class

This is one class that I am going to miss!  Seriously learned a lot about copics, now we can play for a week and still load up our projects on the site and hopefully get some feedback.
I found this free digi from Marianne Walker's blog
She is another instructor for copic certification.
I thought I would give her a try and she was fun to color!

Less is More Card 2 Witches and Wizards

I have another card for the Less is More Challenge Witches and Wizards (and little monsters!)
I think this is the result of those witches or wizards...that frog doesn't look too happy!
This is from TCP and has all kinds of fun little Halloween stamps.
And the inside...you all know I am always adding something inside now!

Thanks for checking out my cards!
Have a great weekend!

Less is More ~ Witches

is what they want over at the Less is More Challenge.
I had some NBUS from TCP...perfect!!
And the inside!
I colored the witch with some memento pens and added some Wink of Stella to give her shoes, dress and hat a little shine and sparkle!  The arrows at the bottom are MFT Right this Way stamped in PTI terra cotta tile.
A showery gloomy fall day here today...good day to stay inside and play!!
