Seize the Birthday ~ Use scraps

Hi friends, thanks for stopping by and checking out the Seize the Birthday Challenge!

Lindsey is our hostess and the topping is using our scraps!

If you do NOT want to use the topping, you are welcome to make any kind of BIRTHDAY card!

I am positive I am NOT alone in this,  I have so many boxes of scraps that I cut or start coloring or even almost put together, but get easily sidetracked and then it gets cleaned up and goes into the box of unused 'stuff'.  I looked through the box first when the topping was "USE YOUR SCRAPS"!

I could make LOTS of cards from the scrap box!

About a month ago I made some backgrounds using shaving foam and I even had the image all cut and colored as well, so it went together pretty quickly!

I was pretty surprised that the colors were okay together!

My image is from Stamping Village designed by Studio Katia.

Please join the design team and our special party guest: Angie

See you in the gallery!

Heart Hugs, friends!

Very pretty Colleen. Love your shaving cream background. They are so fun to make (and messy. Ha!)

That background is absolutely gorgeous! And you're right, you'd think you'd coloured the image specifically to go with it. Terrific card! And glad to know I'm not the only one with an overflow of scraps. ;)

I would love to be looking at your scrap box. This is absolutely fantastic and a great way to use that shaving cream technique. I just went through my scrap box and made cards of what I could scrap out. So I have little to make for this challenge.

I do agree - the pieces look amazing together! Lucky you to have everything ready from your scrap stash - guess you just needed glue!! :D I'm particularly loving that background - so fabulous, it would go with any color and be just as beautiful!
