Just Us Girls Challenge #552 ~ leaves

Hi friends, I played a little bit today and made a card for the JUGS Challenge # 552:  leaves.

I don't know why I love leaves, but I do and when I saw this Birch Press stamp with leaves and some pretty awesome sentiments (loved the easy read fonts too!) I decided to use it for this challenge.

I gold embossed and then used zig clear color pens to color in the leaves and a little bit of the background on one side!  I also gold embossed the left side of the card to have the same gold look.

The stamp is called Grateful Leaf Frames from Birch Press

I actually made two cards, didn't color a background on the second one.

I have two aunts one will be 97 in December the other will be 96 next month, I send them cards often to let them know I am thinking of them...I think these two will go to them.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you all have a wonderful week!

Heart Hugs, friends!

I love that you send cards to your aunts and I'm sure they look forward to them. These are perfect to pop in and say hello.

I LOVE the orange leaves with the blue around them, Col! The leaves without the blue are beautiful too, but that blue really makes them pop! Gorgeous cards, my friend! Your aunts will love them!

I love leaves, too, Colleen! What a gorgeous stamp made into 2 beautifully classy cards! I love the bit of blue background, but the second one is so elegant--love it, too! Hope you're all OK. For the first time in my life, I've been nervous about wildfires. So glad we're down here as the house we built up there is in the zone evacuated--can't imagine! Sending hugs to you, sweet friend!

What a beautiful image Col ... no wonder you had to get it! Both cards are so beautiful, but the first one looks amazing with the addition of blue. Great colour combination! xx
