Seize the Birthday ~ Spring Fling!

To me, Tulips represent spring, although truth be told, once these tulips show their beauty, the wind and rain come and beat them down!  It seems it never fails and we don't get to enjoy them for long.
Maybe this year will be different, we certainly had a very dry February, maybe April will be more of the same!
And so I chose this beauty for my Spring Fling challenge with Seize the Birthday!
I used Altenew's Exotic Tulips, aren't' they gorgeous?
So friends come join us with this Spring Fling Challenge we have going on and play along with us.
And check out our fabulous Party Guest, Stef of Perry Papercrafts  and give a big welcome for her awesome inspiration for us!
You are always welcome to make any kind of birthday card if you don't want to go with the topping this time!

Heart Hugs, friends!

Because they don't last long, tulips are extra special! These are beautiful and the wind and rain won't hurt them!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL Colleen! Think I need to check this stamp set out!! You have wind and rain that take your tulips out and I have rabbits! How can something so small and cute be so destructive?! They don't eat them...just chew the stem till it breaks and then leave the tulips laying on the ground...grrrrrr!!! But anyway, your purple tulips are absolutely lovely my friend! Hugs. :0)

These tulips are gorgeous in purple! Our tulips are usually okay - it's the peonies that always seem to trigger a rainstorm. :D Beautiful card.

Those are some beautiful purple tulips, Colleen! I lived in Sherwood, OR until last September and know all to well of which you speak about the typical short lives to tulips in Western Oregon. It just makes them all the more precious. Love the ones you made!

I agree with you about the short life of tulips, Col. That's why the recipient of this beautiful birthday card is lucky ~ these gorgeous purple blooms will never get blown away or beaten down by the rain!! Take care, stay safe, and Happy Easter, my friend! Hugs, Darnell

The layered purple tulips are beautiful, Colleen ! I think all the pretty Spring flowers have short lives. It's a pity. But maybe the wind and rain in Spring are need for the next blooms. Happy Easter!

The tulips are gorgeous! Go perfectly with the sentiment. It's been a dry April here - hoping it's been the same for you.
