After watching Loll's video, I couldn't stop making these rubberband backgrounds!
This time I used a colored cardstock (PTI spring moss) and stamped my rubberbands using the same ink color. It makes a fun background! And I had requests for more "Praying for you" cards, and it has to say "our prayers" instead of "my" which makes it a little trickier! I had to selectively stamp a sentiment that had prayers at the end, but I used a different stamp for the "you are in our", so it all worked! Good thing I have my stamps in Evernote so that I could find those words!
PTI Tulip time
WPlus9 Sympathy Lilies sentiment (you are in our)
PTI Beautiful blessings (prayers)
MFT Stitched Rectangle Scallop
Heart Hugs, friends!

A perfect background for these pretty tulips, Colleen! It looks like a grassy meadow! Thanks for sharing with us again at CAS Mix Up! It is addictive isn't it!
Your tulips are gorgeous, Colleen & the rubberband background is great done on colored cardstock with matching ink!
The tone-on-tone of your background adds something special to your pretty tulip card Col. I'm so happy you are having fun with this technique! It's an older, but a goodie! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx

What a lovely background! It reminds me of one I do using marbles. I'll have to read about this one and give it a try. You've been busy making beautiful floral cards and this is another beauty. I love the scalloped window and those gorgeous pink tulips. Hug, my friend!
Oh, my! Sorry I am behind on commenting here! I do love those pretty tulips from PTI in pink! Awesome fun background...how clever! A wonderful CAS card!!
Another beautiful card with these gorgeous tulips Colleen! Your monochrome background is lovely behind them - and I love your scalloped edge framing!
Beautiful colour combination and such a soft and delicate background with the rubber band technique. Such a gorgeous card and well done on the sentiment....Thank you for joining in at The CAS Mix Up Challenge x
Definitely loving the tone on tone effect and repeating it on the tulip stems was so smart. Great harmony and subtleness for the "OUR" sentiment ;-)
Thanks for this addition to the CAS Mix Up Challenge, xx
