Final card for Day 1 Online Class ~ Masked heat embossing

I was pleasantly surprised that it worked for me, although I am NOT happy with the zing embossing powder, it would NOT melt and it doesn't blend well, except for that I was able to stamp my background and mask off and then apply the different colors of powder.
And here we go again with another 'boo boo'...I can't even tell you how long I used my heating tool to emboss this card...OMG it took forever and when I 'thought' I was done (of course, I turned it this way and that to scrutinize the embossing) I was ready to apply my sentiment (which is a Lawn Fawn: Thanks) die cut with black cardstock and embossed twice with rangers 'black sparkle' powder...wow is this ever cool looking when it is all done.  Oh, but wait, my orange powder was NOT embossed...oh shoot...so, since some of it flaked away, nothing to do but add a strip of black paper to cover up the smear...I think I am done with zing powder!
the background stamp is a Hero Arts stamp called "tablecloth"

Okay, now for day 2...hope this goes better for me!!

This turned out very pretty. Hey, Col I think you need a new embossing tool. Remember how much trouble I have using your tool. I rarely have that problem with my tool.
