CAS Mix Up Card Challenge ~ January

I have another card for the CAS Mix Up Card Challenge for January.
I used cling film and a faux pearl technique to get the cool background.
I dropped some Adirondack acrylic "pearl" paint onto my Ranger mat and dabbed it with a scrunched up bit of cling wrap and dabbed it over my white cardstock.  When it was dry,(and it only took a few minutes) I sponged over it with some DOX ink.  It looks like a blizzard with the swirling snow! he he

I used cling wrap, stamped my sentiment and die cut my sloping hillside (poppystamp).
You have until the 24th to enter this challenge!
Go check out all the inspiration for this fun technique and play along!

Heart Hugs, friends!

    1. DOX is Distress Oxide Inks from Ranger, the die is a poppystamp die called Sloping Hillside.

  11. What a lovely background you created Colleen - it does look like swirling snow in the sky - I love the red sentiment - I rarely think of doing a sentiment in a color other than black - and the red is perfect here! Thanks for playing with us at the CAS Mix Up! Julia xx
