Easy Ombre Resist Technique

Jennifer McGuire showed many cards using this technique and I wanted to give it a try.

She called it Easy Ombre Resist Tehcnique

 I used a Hero Arts cling background stamp called Antique Brocade.

I white embossed it on white paper and then used Distress Ink: Abandoned Coral.  Starting at the bottom I saturated it pretty good with lots of color and then worked my way up using less of the ink on my blending tool.

The sentiment is also HA: Prayers.

Merry Monday #203 OMBRE + GLITTER

Welcome to another Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge

Sweet Kristie asks us to use ombre colors and a little glitter on our cards this week!

I used a Darice snowflake embossing folder and started with PTI lovely lady,hibiscus burst and at the top, raspberry fizz for my ombre colors.

The little girl is from MFT Sweet Tweetings, I colored her with copics with the violet colors.

Now you are probably wondering where my glitter is...the snowflake she is holding is covered with glitter, just hard to capture with the camera!
