Seize the Birthday ~ Watercoloring

Time for another BIRTHDAY CARD made with watercolors for this challenge!
Nancy is our hostess this time around!  And Dotty from Just a Dotty Pudding is here one more time as our Party Guest, so please go check out her card inspiration along with all the team!
I pulled out some water color paper and white heat embossed all these balloons, then I cut them out and used zig water color markers to color them.  I added a bit of blue sky and clouds to the background.  My balloons are from a PTI set called Birthday Balloons!! And the sentiment die is also from PTI.
I hope you will join us with this fun technique!

MIM # 251 Gradient Watercolor Die Cuts

Dawn has a video over at Capture the Moment showing how she used watercolors to make a gradient look on die cuts.
I added a few flower sequins from one of Betsy's Kits and called it good.  I used the Zig water color pens.
This die is from PTI: Paper Clippings:  Thank You.
These are a couple of Dawn's cards:

Pretty Pink Posh Watercolor Blog Hop and the 30 Day Coloring Challenge

I stamped and white embossed 4 flowers from the Mama Elephant Freestyle Florals set.  I used the new Zig Clean Color Real Brush to color in the flowers.
My panels were cut with the Li'l Inkers Stitched Rectangle Frames.
The top left piece was dry embossed with a Darice slanted lined folder.
The sentiment is from PTI Birthday Bash.
I am entering this card in the Pretty Pink Posh Watercolor Blog Hop and also the 30 day Coloring Challenge
