CAS Christmas March Anniversary Challenge!

Loll is our hostess and she is looking for RED, WHITE, and KRAFT on our CAS Christmas card to celebrate our THIRD anniversary!
Keeping it clean and simple, I embossed the kraft with a snowflake ef, I then cut out the trees using a Memory Box Pine Border die and outline die.
I love these colors together and think they make awesome cards.

Won't you join us, I know we just put away Christmas, but really aren't our stamps out all year long?
Trust me when I say you will LOVE making your cards NOW and having them all done in December!
We have a special guest with us also, please welcome her and visit her blog for more inspiration:

Welcome friends, we are half way through the month and time for another Nativity card to inspire you!  Marcia is our hostess looking for a clean and simple nativity card for the CAS Christmas July Card Challenge
For my card I used a strip of gold washi tape and the image is from Paper Smooches:  A Blessed Christmas.  I colored the Holy Family with copics.

CAS Christmas Card Challenge reminder!

Hi friends, are you used to writing 2020 yet?  It does seem unreal, doesn't it?
Well our "tag"  challenge for CAS Christmas in January is still going on and we have more cards for your inspiration.  This is a wonderful way to get ahead of the game and save a lot of stress come next December, so I hope you will join us!
First I used a snowflake cuttlebug folder for my background, then I used a PTI Berry Wreath Tag die and made my scene using 2 PTI Tinsel and Tag dies.  I colored them with copics, used DOX for the background sky.  This was a fun and easy tag to make and adhere to the card.

Thank you Christina for a wonderful challenge to start our New Year!
And a big welcome to Jane of Onions and Paper for being our guest this month!

CAS Christmas October Challenge ~ A Winter Scene

More inspiration for you from the team at CAS Christmas Challenge, I hope you will be able to play along by creating a winter scene.
I was gifted this die from Trina, one of my team mates here at CAS Christmas when we were at our Craft Retreat back in May, I don't have a name for the die, but it came with 5 dies of different sizes.  I really like it!  I sponged on some DOX in the background and used a Sizzix thinlets die called Tree Line.  I tried cutting it out with a dark forest green originally, but didn't really like the looks of it, probably because I tried to add snow drops and that really was not the right thing to do!  That was put in the circular file (LOL) and I started over, I think the white looks more like a winter scene with snow on the all the branches, that must be what a winter wonderland looks like!
the little deer is from SSS.  I think he is so cute turning his head like that.  I cut him out with kraft paper and then sponged on some distress ink.

The challenge is open until October 24.  We will have one more month of CAS Christmas Challenge, then we will take a break to get ready for the holiday and spending time with family!
See you in the gallery!

CAS Christmas August ~ Glitter

This glittery snowflake card is for the CAS Christmas August Challenge.
You can probably tell I have loved playing with the NUVO glimmer paste (moonstone color).
I followed the directions for this technique from HERE.  I used about three colors of copics to shade my paper before adding the glimmer paste, it has a nice sparkle to it, doesn't it?
It is NOT too late to play along this month.  Please check out the blog and see all the fabulous cards from the DT!  See you in the gallery!

Loll is our hostess for the August CAS Christmas and she is looking for cards with glitter...and you know you will be wearing it for weeks!

I used some Metallic Silver Sparkle embossing glitter for the snowflake and the strip at the bottom.
A pretty CAS and easy card to make!

CAS Christmas July Challenge ~ Snowflake

Less than 6 months till Christmas friends!
I hope that you are inspired to make a Christmas card with a snowflake on it...if you want to get out of the heat, than try some snowflakes on your card!  Bonnie is our hostess for this CAS Christmas Challenge.
I die cute a couple of snowflakes and from the base card stock I colored some purple copics knowing that the die would cover all but the shape of the snowflake.  Then over the copic I spread some Nuvo glitter paste (moonstruck).  When it was dry I adhered the die cut paper over the top.  I embossed the sentiment with HA silver ep. I saw this technique HERE.

I hope you will go check out all the fabulous snowflakes over at CAS Christmas and be inspired to make a Christmas card!  I look forward to seeing it in the gallery!
