Gina K ~ Wednesday Whimsy ~ rainbows and graduation cards

Wednesday Whimsy with Gina K was about rainbows and the quote was: "Remember, rainbows appear after a storm and that light begins and ends with color."  The theme was encouragement and inclusion.  She has a FREE digital download called YOU Matter!  You can get it HERE:

I sent this one to a friend from bible study, she is black and I wrote inside when I see her I do NOT see her black skin, but that she is a Sister in Christ with me.  She has such great faith and calls on the Holy Spirit to lead and guide her. I want her to know that she does indeed matter.
The sentiments are from the FREE download,  the rainbow is made with a PTI stamp called "Brushed OFF".  The top card I used the Gina K Wild Blossoms.  The next card I used a butterfly stamp from PTI called Butterfly Hope.
And school is officially OUT for this school year.  My daughter needed a few graduation cards, and I needed only one.  The above card is a Penny Black stamp called "Grad".  You will notice a theme with the school colors...Green and Gold (yellow) I did some foiling on this card, which was one of the M-W-F videos and I learned that you can foil twice if you use the toner paper.  So I cut a strip of toner paper and using a leftover piece of gold foil paper, I laminated it to the toner paper.  After it came out, I added a piece of green foil and sent it through the laminator again...I was able to get a green and gold foil slanted stripe on the card!  Yahoo!!
I used the Wreath Builder to make the next two cards for the male graduates. The stamp is Gina K:  For the Graduate
And lastly because we were sending a graduation card to the same person, I chose a yellow rose and colored with copics.  The banner is a PTI stamp & die set called "Banner Style"

Okay I am now done with graduation cards for this school year.
Thanks for hanging out with me through this line up of cards!
Heart Hugs, friends!

What a delightful array of cards here today Colleen! I love the painted rainbow cards. I have that stamp set and it hasn't seen ink in a very long time so I'm inspired to pull it out and give it some love. I'm sure your friend from Bible study appreciates your heartfelt card and your friendship. All your graduation cards are wonderful! The yellow rose is particularly beautiful and I love it with the glitter added to the banner. So pretty! I'm glad you're staying well and keeping busy. It's a bit of a dreary day here so I think some crafting is in order. Have a great week my friend!

Those are beautiful rainbow cards and the sentiments are wonderful. Your friend will appreciate her card. All the grad cards in school colors look great and the double foiled card is just gorgeous. What a fun experiment that is with excellent results.

WOW...you really have been busy in your craft room my friend!! Your rainbow cards are FABULOUS and I'm sure your friend really appreciated the one you sent to her! I had no graduates this year for the first time in years and years, so did not have to make any! Yours all turned out wonderful though and I especially love the striped foil one! Think I need to invest in some of that toner paper so I can play with different colors like you did! And don't you just love playing with the wreath builder?! I hadn't played with mine in awhile until Gina did her rainbow cards...I had forgotten how much FUN it is!! The yellow rose card is absolutely beautiful too! Lovely, lovely cards my friend!! Hugs. :0)
