Praying for you and sympathy cards

I have been watching Gina K Designs on YouTube...she has a Merry Monday where she makes Christmas cards on Monday, whimsy Wednesday and a Throwback Friday.  They are very fun to watch and for the most part they are all CAS cards.
I made three cards using this stamp from Wild Blossoms but changing up the color of the flowers.
She also shared a technique that she calls, thumping.  She inks up the flower stamp and then with a Tombow marker of a darker shade of the color, she thumps it over the inked stamp...it does give a  dimensional and cool look to the flowers.

I added an image from the same set for the inside of each of these cards.

This is the same image as the first three cards, but going horizontal across the card.  Also masking paper was torn to give it a little more interest rather than a straight line.
And the card above is also from the same stamp set, again using masking paper and bending colors and then stamping the image as a silhouette.

Heart Hugs, friends!

What gorgeous cards these are and wonderful sympathy cards. I hate that we need so many of these now but they are uplifting and lets someone know you are thinking of them.

Beautiful cards Colleen! I have been enjoying Gina's video's too and am hoping to make a few today using her smackin' acetate technique. She is so fun to watch and I love her little chats too. Hope you have a great weekend my friend! Stay safe and well! Hugs. :0)

Fabulous batch of cards! Such a pretty stamp on the first three and lovely colour choices. Beautiful background for the great silhouette on the fourth card.

All beautiful cards Colleen!! Thumping is a really old technique and it's nice to see it being used again. It really does add dimension to your beautiful flowers. And I love your blended cards with the silhouette images. Great collection of cards Col!! xx
