CAS Christmas Card October Challenge ~ Birds

Of course when I think of birds at Christmas I go to the fabulous red cardinals!
First I stamped my cardinal, then masked him off.
Next I stamped the branch from Sunny Studios: Holiday Style.
I masked off that also and added a strip of making tape to the left side and the bottom to keep it clean.
Next I sponged on my wintry background with some DO and then using a ruler I drew my lines on the left and bottom. I finished it off  with splatters from Mister Huey's shine.

I am looking forward to seeing the Christmas card you make with a bird.
See you in the gallery!

Heart Hugs, friends!

What a pretty cardinal perched on that pine branch, Colleen! I love how you've placed that pretty snowy background off center! It looks like another panel, but I can see that it's your magic!

This is so beautiful, Colleen! I love how you have masked off the two edges, such a pretty look. The cardinal is my favorite bird and yours is magical! We have a big blue spruce tree that they like to nest in, so we always have them in our yard.
