The last day of this One layer Wonder class over at the Altenew Academy taught by Kelly Lavetola.
First thing I notice that I would do differently is leave more space between my sentiment and the hand drawn lines...at least more space between the first top and bottom closest to the sentiment.
And second, I sure need more practice with watercolor because I still get the drying lines and I don't really like them. Also, one of the reasons I LOVE Altenew stamps is for their magnificent layering, so I didn't have a bouquet stamp for this final technique...I used an Essentials by Ellen, the Mondo Hydrangea. My background stamp (barely visible) is a PTI "Cover-Up Diamond" stamp.
I did use the Distress Oxide inks and then copics to add the layering.
I learned a lot in this class...it went by fast and every day I looked forward to watching the new video.
thanks for stopping by friends! Hope you all are having a great day!
My sentiment is from an Altenew set called: Painted Butterflies!
Heart Hugs, friends!

Colleen this is fabulous! Your flowers are so pretty! To get rid of the drying lines use less water. You should have a sheen of water (it reflects in the light) so that the pigment can move but not so much that it dries unevenly. My card used a ton of water.
Oh, wow, this is beautiful. The soft blended colors are just like flowers look. I love this and you sure nailed it.
SO LOVELY!!!!!!
