YEAH!! We finally meet in person!
And I got to spend a fun week with my BFF of 61 years!
And you know that she has new triplet babies, right? So I got to see them and even hold them, feed them, love on them, but NO kissing them!! They were one month old and finally weighed in around 5 pounds, the one that weighed the most at birth was the last to come home and was the smallest at their one month weigh in, he was 4 # 14 ounces. The little girl weighed the most at 5# 2 oz and the other little boy was exactly 5#...so tiny, friends, but oh so sweet!
We picked up Marybeth and Darnell from SeaTac Airport and immediately went to Impress which is an awesome stamp store...they have their own line of Flora and Fauna stamps, but they carry everyone's, stamps...from Lawn Fawn to Concord & 9th, Memory Box and Poppy Stamps, even Pretty Pink Posh and Avery Elle...lots of dies, lots of inks, it is one of those stores that you need to walk through 10 times to see everything and even then, you probably miss something that you wished you had seen!
Marybeth asked if they had Memory Box Dies, so the clerk showed her where they were stored and right in front of us was the two samples she made and gave to the owner, Dave showing the dies with her fabulous stitching and bead work. And the packaging for the dies had a picture of her products she made...she is on the Memory Box design team...that was a real thrill for her to see them in the store!
And friends if you want to see more pictures and funny stories, then head over to Darnell's blog and read all about it...you know she has a way with words that I couldn't even come close to write!
And I think it might be okay for me to post a picture of TWO grandma's and one Nonna holding the three triplets:

I don't know which is sweeter, the pictures of the babies or the pictures of the four of you ladies. I love them all and so happy you all were able to get together. I know the laughter was wild. How sweet the babies are. That is wonderful for Marybeth to have her work on display.
Such wonderful photos of sweet babies and sweet friends! How fun for you all!
Sounds like such a wonderful trip Colleen how lucky you were to meet everyone and to hold Linda's new grandbabies? They are beautiful! Thank for sharing the photos!

Can you email me the one of the four of us hugging? I don't have that one and I'd like to add it to my post. It's awesome! Thank you! Hugs, Darnell
What a wonderful post, Colleen! Those babies are so blessed to have so many grandmas loving on them. And that group hug makes me want to join in. Maybe some day.
