Seize the Birthday ~ Pattern Paper

This challenge over at Seize the Birthday is about using your pattern paper!
I don't use pattern paper much, although I love it and seem to have quite a stash of it! LOL
My problem is I am not very good about mixy matchy if you know what I mean.  I love packs that are meant to go together, so when I saw this cupcake pattern paper, I went with it!
Hero Arts:  cupcakes
Verve die
My Minds Eye:  Lime Twist Paper Pack
Okay, you know the drill...you can go with the TOPPING for this challenge which is "PATTERN PAPER or you can make ANY KIND OF BIRTHDAY CARD!
Check out the cards made by the design team, there are some awesome inspiration over there!

Heart Hugs, friends!

I know exactly what you mean about pattern paper. I have tons on 6 x 6 pads and so much 12 x 12. I don't use it. I think it comes from the rule of not wearing stripes with checks that I grew up with. I NEED to start using it and you are an inspiration with this cute card. The coloring and shading is perfect and now I want a cupcake!

I think most of us know exactly what you mean about matching PP. I struggle with it too! This card is super cute! The shadowing and droplets of sprinkles really adds a lot of dimension. Terrific job and have a fabulous weekend! All it's suppose to do here is rain! :(

Wonderful matching of paper, Colleen! I'm terrible at using more than one paper. LOL, I'm not good with even one pattern!
