Merry Monday #251 Monochromatic Blues

Debbie is looking for a Monochromatic Blue Christmas card for our Merry Monday Challenge this week.  I white embossed this Penny Black image (Most wonderful) and then did a wash with  turquoise brusho's. The inside says: "It's the most wonderful time of the year" and I stamped a few individual snowflakes in the blue ink!
Friends, go check out the inspiration from the design team and we hope you will play along with us!

Heart Hugs, friends!

Spectacular card, Col! Dreamy even! Gosh, I love this challenge idea, but I don't know if I'll have time ... just have to make it, right? If not, I know there will be tons of amazing inspiration like this to refer back to when I find time!! Hugs, Darnell

So simple and yet so striking...LOVE this card Colleen! That background is such a pretty shade of blue and your snowflakes look fabulous hanging from the sentiment! Hope it feels good to be home but I imagine it's a little quiet in your craft room! You can always travel this way if it gets too quiet...I'd love to spend a week stamping with you!! Have a great rest of your week!! :0)

So pretty! My very first thought when I saw this card was Elvis. "I'll have a blue Christmas without you". I don't know if it's bad the way my brain works or great because I love to burst into song! I do like the beautiful wash of blue and the snowflakes just pop.
