Jenni has a beautiful card for this week's MUSE Challenge.
That flower from Clearly Besotted is the first flowers I purchased from that company, (Happy Everything). it is my favorite and I absolutely loved Jenni's card and design.
I would have liked to just copy the whole thing!
Since I am taking the Online Watercolor class, I thought I would use some of the techniques on this card.
I embossed the wonky chevron (MFT) and then did a water brush background going from a darker gray to a lighter gray.
I did the drop in technique from Altenew that I learned last week when I watercolored the flower. I added the same Pearl Pen drops for the center of the flowers as Jenni did.
I think this makes a striking card and perfect for either sympathy or praying for you.
Here is Jenni's card!
Thanks for stopping by!
Heart Hugs!

Such a beautiful card. Love how you've taken so many elements from Jenni's Muse card and nonetheless made the project your own.
Beautiful flowers and background, Colleen! I love the contrast with the black and white sentiment!
