MIM # 151 Drop Shadow Die Cuts

Betsy Veldman showed us her drop shadow technique over at Capture the Moment
I used harvest berries with spring moss paper stamped with simply chartreuse.
The under shape was cut with the ripe avocado dotted pattern paper.
The birthday was die cut with black and black pattern paper.
I added one step to this...I die cut the two shapes from the front of the card and placed
the pattern paper into the die cut space, then layered the stamped leaves on top,
slightly off to give the effect of the shadow.

I loved Betsy's card, so fresh and bright, will definitely try this again!
We are expecting a big snow storm!
If we can believe the weatherman, we have been disappointed in this past!
they announced early release before school even started, so I think it is a sure thing!

Be safe, be warm, be joyful!
Heart Hugs,
Colleen
