Muse Challenge # 11

What drew me to the inspiration card was the die cut and the sentiment inside.  I had also seen a technique that Heather Nichol's did HERE  and thought I would give it a try.  I used watercolor paper and some distress inks to get the water color look.  You can access this challenge HERE and here is the card for inspiration.
IMG_9515_edited-1Have you played along with the Muse Challenge?  You must give it a try if you have not done so yet...You just take something from the inspiration piece and make it your own..  "You're free to draw your inspiration from any of the elements of this week's Muse card. For example, design/layout, color combination, pattern, texture, image, style, embellishment and technique. Be creative and make a card that reflects your own personal style and flair." Pretty fun don't you think?  AND then all you have to do is comment on THREE other cards...and who doesn't love getting comments about their masterpieces!!  On Saturdays, YOU get to vote for your favorite THREE and a winner is selected based on the votes...how cool is that??

Paper:  PTI Kraft, berry sorbet, Hero Arts Watercolor paper
Stamps:  PTI Wildflower Garden, Background Basic: Inspiration
ink:  distress ink: shabby shutters, spun sugar, worn lipstick, PTI berry sorbet

Love the pretty colours and the soft look of the watercolour technique! That's a beautiful sentiment, too - a good reminder to accept each day as a gift! Great take on the Muse! Thanks so much for playing along!
