Muse Challenge # 6
You're free to draw your inspiration from any of the elements of Deanna's card, shown above. For example, design/layout, color combination, pattern, texture, image, style, embellishment and technique. Be creative and make a card that reflects your own personal style and flair. You can read more about the challenge HERE on the MUSE blog.
Well, I am not so clever with free hand drawing lines, so I guess my style is more uniform and using a ruler! So this is what I came up with. I liked the cluster of flowers, so I knew I wanted to do that and I liked her colors although mine are a bit more subdued.
Stamps: PTI simple sunflower, CAS-ual Friday casual elegance
ink: raspberry fizz, berry sorbet, hibiscus burst, limeade
paper: PTI rustic cream

Clever to upside-down this sketch in this way! I can clearly see the inspiration, but equally, it's clearly yours! Great take on the Muse!

So, so beautiful, Colleen! You stood Deanna's card on it's head and I LOVE that!!
Oh how lovely! What a beautiful interpretation of the Muse card! I have been wanting that stamp set, but was waiting for fall thinking it was a fall set. I am going to go put it in my cart! I love the springy colors!!
This is so pretty Colleen. These are some of my favorite flower stamps. I think I might just have to CASE you on this one :)
So, so pretty! Wonderful idea to put the flowers in the opposite corner! Greetings from down the freeway. We used to live in the Portland area.
So pretty, Colleen, love your take with the soft, subtle colours and crisp frame! Anita in France :)
I like how you flipped the sketch. Such a pretty card!
Very pretty card. I thought about using simple sunflowers for this challenge, too! Love your color choices.
