Guest at 12 Kits of Occasions!

I had the pleasure to meet Nancy Penir this last March when a group of us met at the Craft House in Kansas.  Nancy asked me to be her guest for the May 12 Kits of Occasions and of course I was honored and humbled to be asked and said YES!
I learned that Nancy has chickens and she calls them her "ladies" and even has names for them.  So I was NOT surprised that her Kit had to do with eggs, chickens and things farm related!
You can check out the supply list on the 12 Kits of Occasions Blog!
I know there are chickens that actually look like this crazy thing!  I had to make a shaker card with some of the fun beads and sequins that was in the kit and of course I colored up a couple of eggs and made a banner from the sentiment she provided.  My family thought this was the best one of the bunch I made!  I think they liked the shaker!
This was actually the first card I made from the kit and I cut an oval from the chicken wire that she stamped for me....egg shape, you know!!  And that fun pattern paper was in the kit too along with the sentiments!
Then I went a totally different direction when I saw this sweet sheep and decided to make it into a baby card!
I colored up these cute little Lawn Fawn Ducks and put them into their own little window box!
And last but not least was this cute little cow with the talk bubble that I thought was so clever.  I cut out a heart from adhesive paper and sponged on some DI and added the cow!
I still have some more elements to use as you can see from the side of this card, and I have more pattern paper too.  But I wanted to get these made for you to see what I did with this fun Kit from Nancy!  I hope you will go check out what all the other ladies made, I am always so surprised how everyone comes up with different ideas using the same elements...that makes this very fun!

Heart Hugs, friends!
