Paper Players and Stamp Nation Day 4

Stamp Nation Day 4 is all about food!
And I followed the sketch for the Paper Players # 242
For the Stamp Nation Day 4 Virtual Retreat the challenge was to use a food item on your card...who doesn't like ice cream?

The paper is from a Make It Market Kit from PTI, I thought it kind of looked like sprinkles!
Thanks for taking a look!

Paper Players # 186

Paper Players  this week has some colors for the challenge.
A beautiful person from my church moved to Bend, so I don't get to see her very often.
On Friday morning I got a text telling me she was in town and could we do lunch!
I immediately said YES, so excited to see her!
And my friend Linda even knows her because we all took a pilgrimage to Medjugorje in Croatia a few years back.  She bought our lunches and even a dessert to share because it was my birthday on Wednesday.  Of course I have to send her another thank you...like I need a reason to make another card!!  This is for her..

Simon Says Stamps and die:  Thanks
colors:  blueberry sky, summer sunrise, HA Soft granite

Thank for taking a look and I hope you all have a great week, sadly my friend will be heading home tomorrow morning, but that is okay...we Skype a lot while in our craft rooms...besides, I think my DH will be happy to have me all to himself again!

Heart Hugs,
Colleen

Paper Players ~ A thank you Theme

The Paper Players challenge is to make a Thank you card.
It just so happened that a really sweet mom from my husband's volleyball team
found out it was my birthday yesterday, so when the girls came for practice today,
she had me go down to the gym and she gave me a box of See's Candies!
Isn't that sweet and thoughtful?
That is just the kind of person she is!
So when I am done here posting this card, I am going to write inside and go down and leave it on her windshield!

Stamps and dies:  PTI Bold Bouquet
paper:  PTI white, spring rain pattern paper
ink:  spring ran, blueberry sky, simply chartreuse, ripe avocado, versafine black

Paper Players # 161 A Fall Themed Card

"Falling For You", a Fall themed card is the challenge on the Paper Players Blog this week.  I was going through a box of already stamped images and ran across this leaf one and thought...YES, I will use this for the challenge.  The leaves were colored with some "LuminArte" which needs to be used with a watercolor brush.  The whole card just shimmers and glimmers.  I used PTI shimmer green paper for the background and the sentiment strip too.

Stamps:  Stampin' Up, PTI Fall Elegance
medium:  LuminArte, perfect pearls
paper:  PTI rustic cream, Shimmer paper
misc:  brass bling

Paper Players Color Challenge # 158

This is the first time I have inked up Summer Hills...I used melon berry paper for the house and fussy cut it, Memento rose bud for the sentiment, I watercolored the tree with a green pencil.  I loved this sentiment especially since I have my three aunts whom I love and was able see this last weekend at our family reunion picnic...this card was made with them in mind! I guess I will have to make two more...they do enjoy getting the cards from me!

You can access the challenge by going HERE.
