PTI ~ Celebrating the year 2013!

Ruby rose is a really fun flower set to use, I enjoyed playing with it again and I do really like the corner sentiment too, I must use this more often!
This is short but sweet because we are heading to the airport to go to Salt Lake City to watch Ellie play in a volleyball tournament.  My husband and of course Dina, the mom, is going and we invited our other daughter Lacey to come with us...we thought she would enjoy a weekend free of kids and responsibilities (her husband does a LOT of fishing and hunting, so it seems only fair!!  *wink! although he asked if she was sure she didn't want to take Addie (9) with her!  NOT!!   that was the whole point!!)
But first we have to get our pump fixed...NO water!!  Happened last night as we were getting ready for a shower before bed!  Good thing I had some bottled water so we could wash hands, face and brush our teeth! And we can't go next door to our daughter's house because we share the same pump!  They have NO water either!

Okay back to the cards...if you want to play along with the 2013 year in celebration of PTI's 10 anniversary, then go HERE.  There is a $25 GC up for grabs!

PTI Celebrating the year 2012

and Embroidered Blooms was one of the stamps showcased today.
You know I have to be honest I am NOT sure I have ever used this stamp in all the years I have had it.  I know my BFF has used it a number of times when she has been at my house.
So I thought today was the day to get it inked up.
I decided to also use the Embroidered Borders stamp set and die.
I loved how Betsy had her sentiment along the side of her card, so I angled mine also.

PTI Celebrating Past Present & Future 2011

2011 was a very good year!
Check out all the fun inspiration from PTI Celebrating Past Present and Future
I saw the cute Winter Penguin and almost pulled that out, then decided to go with the Year of Flowers Collection...they are smaller flowers, but so cute and I loved what the ladies made with them. I decided to just use the daffodil because two popped up in my daughter's yard and I am so ready for spring as I am sure many of you are feeling the same way!
I stamped the image and white embossed then used my zigs to color the flower.  I stamped randomly all over the card with the same image using fine linen ink.
I added a strip of the striped lemon tart paper and added a sentiment from the Mat Stack collection..it fit perfectly inside my frame made from a die from Don't Forget to Write.
thanks for stopping by!!

PTI ~ Celebrating Past Prest Future 2009

I did NOT have any of the stamps they used from 2009, but I did have the Scenti-mentals stamp and I really liked Dawns design, so I pretty much CAS'd her!!
to get inspired to play along with this fun anniversary challenge.
It is so fun to go back and see the oldie but goodies that have been seeing dust!

PTI ~ Celebrating Past Present and Future 2010

Today at the PTI Blog we are celebrating the year 2010.  I was inspired by Betsy's card.
She used some flowers from the Color Pop Butterflies and I used the flowers from Color Pop: Flowers!  My older daughter's Birthday ( she turns the BIG 40!) is this Sunday and we are going to be in Salt Lake City for a volleyball tournament with Ellie, so I am going to bring this card and give it to her.  I haven't used much ribbon on cards the last few years but thought this would be a good one to use it because I am going to hand deliver it to her!
I am so enjoying going through the years with PTI...some really awesome stamps that get set aside for new ones!  Glad we are taking a trip back to the past!
