Clearly Besotted Challenge # 14 ~ Christmas!

The 14th Challenge is up for the Clearly Besotted Challenge and it is a Christmas theme!
I pulled out Pretty Poinsettia and inked it up with PTI pure poppy, I rolled the tips into some scarlet jewel, that is why it looks "dirty" on the edges, I guess I need more practice with the rock n' roll method! I added a strip of Glitzy Glitter paper from DCWV in green to the top and bottom.  The sentiment was stamped in memento cottage ivy.

Thanks for taking a look!

I have been dog sitting my daughter's dog while they are in Mexico.  They get home tomorrow night, Yeah!!
We love "Happy", but he is my shadow, I cannot move a foot without him getting up and following me...I try to tell him to stay put, I am only going a few feet, but he has to get up and tag along.
Now today I have their cat...I have been letting her outside (maybe more than they do, for purely selfish reasons...I don't have to clean out the kitty litter box...she does her business outside!)  Of course I don't leave her out for long...we are in the land of deer, coyotes, raccoons etc...I think today she was especially feeling lonely, so she followed me back to my house (we live next door) and she came inside, now she is jumping up on everything...walking in front of my face while I try to type...I think both these pets will be very happy when their family is back loving on them!!

Heart hugs!

Clearly Besotted Challenge # 4

Background stamping is the challenge this time for the Clearly Besotted Challenge. I pulled out my Cute and Cuddly stamp set and decided to make my own background using those cute little critters.  The "welcome" is actually a PTI stamp from Baby Button Bits.
I wanted to show you the "inside"...
Those cute little critters peeking inside!!

Clearly Besotted ~ A Color Challenge

You have until this Friday to play along in the Clearly Besotted Challenge.  I was so happy to recieve my order in the mail yesterday and immediately inked up the "Remember" stamp set.  I adore these poppies!  Here are the colors that Stephanie would like you to use...as many or all that you can!

Now that I am looking at the card, I realized I did not use that lilac kind of color...but I do love all the other colors I managed to get it...the card itself is from MFT called steel gray and the twine from the twinery is called stone and I think it is a perfect light gray!

Another Clearly Besotted Challenge

Stephanie over at Stamping & Sharing has another challenge and this time it is a color challenge.  Lucky me for being with my BFF because she has the stamp set from Clearly Besotted called YOU ARE.  (I actually gave it to her for her birthday in June). I drew my bottom line, stamped the sentiment, drew the top line, then I masked off the top portion just so I could see the line and then I stamped the flowers and leaves.  I did the same for the other half.  I framed it with red and then put it on a Smokey shadow paper.

Aren't these pretty colors?  Go check out the challenge...Stephanie has some awesome stamps!

Clearly Besotted Challenge: Seeing Spots

My fourth and probably last card for this challenge.  I used all the darling little animals in the Cute and Cuddly set from Clearly Besotted Stamps.  The second challenge for this stamp company is "SEEING SPOTS" and Stephanie says you can interpret that any way.  For this card I made a bunch of stamped dots that actually have dots inside the dots...it is from a PTI stamp set called All About You...it is meant to be the center for the flowers...but I thought these would be perfect for this little card.
Here is that cute little lion...I stamped him in brown ink onto harvest gold paper and then I stamped again with versamark so that I could clear emboss him.  I then colored in some parts of him with copics.  I mounted him onto mat stack # 3 (ripe avocado).  The "cutie pie" is from the Cute and Cuddly set and I used white embossing powder for that sentiment.  Lots of spots and dots, for sure!  Are you playing along yet?  Go HERE to access this challenge...you must use one stamp from Clearly Besotted.

Clearly Besotted Challenge ~ using those Cute and Cuddly Stamps!!

Can you tell I am having fun with this Cute and Cuddly Stamp set from Clearly Besotted?  This is my third card...one more cute little guy to make!  The challenge is all about spots and dots, so I white embossed the little bear on chocolate brown bitty dot pattern paper and fussy cut him (thanks Stephanie for letting me know the dies are coming!!...you know I will be buying them!).  I stamped the 'welcome' from a PTI set called Baby Button bits and the 'boy' from Sweet Baby, the "Baby" was die cut three times from the Wonderful Words:  Baby set.  This is one of those clean and simple cards that Stephanie is so famous for!!

If you want to play along with this Clearly Besotted Challenge called "Seeing Spots", then go HERE  to access the fun.  All you have to do is use at least one Clearly Besotted stamp.

Another card for the Clearly Besotted Challenge

Another card from the Cute and Cuddly Stamp set by Stephanie at Clearly Besotted...I told you these little guys are so cute so I couldn't resist making another card.  This time I used the little giraffe who already had spots!  Before I adhered him to the card, I spritzed on some Heidi Swapp color shine in Teal using her stencil (it has dots, stars and hearts on the stencil, so I just used post it notes to mask off the other shapes).  Then I used the eraser end of a pencil and dabbed it into PTI chocolate brown and melon berry ink to add more dots.  I die cut two balloons (notice the one with polka dots!!) and the other balloon in melon berry paper...kept it simple so I could add the "2nd" to the balloon.  I added some twine from the Twinery and attempted to put it into the giraffe's mouth!  Another cute card, I think!

Clearly Besotted Challenge ~ Polka Dots!!

The second challenge is going on over at Clearly Besotted Stamps.  Stephanie loves polka dots....so the challenge is:  Seeing Dots...and she says you can interpret this anyway you want.  Well, I stuck with my dots and used one of the sketches from the Summer Card class.  That cute elephant is from Cute and Cuddly.  I stamped and fussy cut him (wonder why there is not a die for these four cute little animals...hint hint, Stephanie!! *wink) and then added a little bit of color to him using some soft colored copics.    The word "birthday" is actually from a PTI stamp because I didn't plan very well when I cut my banners...the Birthday in the Cute and Cuddly set was too big to fit on the banner.  I love this set and think those animals are just too cute!

I was remiss in sending you to the blog for the challenge, HERE is where you need to go to enter your card in this challenge of "Seeing Spots"!!
