Hi friends, here we are again for another month of CAS Christmas cards to inspire you early to get those cards done before the hectic times set in! Christine is our hostess asking for a Winter Scene on our Christmas cards this month! And our special guest is IZZY from Izzy Scrap, please welcome her and visit the other designers for more scenic Christmas inspiration!
This card is brought to you by My Favorite Things: Flurry of Love!
I masked off an area and blended in a sky and some snowy hills.
I just think this snowman is so cute lifting his arms to catch the snowflakes!
And one more for inspiration:
Heart Hugs, friends!

Thank you for the wonderful inspiration, Col! Both scenes are so fun with these happy snowmen! Hope you are doing great! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteSuper cute cards, Colleen! I love how you added texture to the tree on the first card and how you created the village on the 2nd one...so fun!
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful cards, Colleen. I love both scenes with the cute snowmen and the snowy landscapes behind them.
ReplyDeleteTwo sweet snowman winter scenes Colleen! That first snowman looks so happy with his arms raised to welcome the snow! xx
ReplyDeleteGuess I need to start paying more attention to MFT, as I thought for sure your snowman was from Purple Onion Designs! But regardless, the scene you created with him reaching his arms out to catch the snowflakes is just absolutely ADORABLE Colleen! And your 2nd card is as cute as the first! Are you maybe wishing for some snow?? We have plenty here if you'd like me to send some your way!! Haha!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteTwo great cards Colleen. I love your blended snow and adorable snowman in the first and awesome masking on the second ♥
ReplyDeleteThese are just lovely Colleen! I love the way you've kept the colour focus mainly on the sky in both, adding touches of colour to your scene elements. I love that happy snowman in the first and the tree (I was SO close to getting that set but caught a glimpse at all my Christmas stamps and told myself no!!) Your village-in-the-snow scene in the second is beautiful. Vicky x
