INSPIRED BY CHALLENGE ~ COLORFUL FALL & COLOR HUES # 26

I do love fall, I love the cooler weather but still have the sun!
And it just so happens I love leaves and just yesterday I put together this card and then VOILA!
I see a post on IG from Michele showing the Inspired By Challenge!

I caught the Hot Glimmer Bug and thought I would use this Modern Lines plate from Spellbinders.
then I pulled out my Lawn Fawn Stitched Leaves and some background papers from my stash made with alcohol inks. They were perfect for the falling leaves!

I used a sentiment from Penny Black: Hello Autumn

The design team have some amazing cards for more inspiration, go check them out and play along!

And I have been making more than just this one...all with leaves..take a look:

Awhile back I made this set from an older PTI set called Make It Market Kit: Color Pop: Autumn
I stenciled the leaves and colored and die cut some for added dimension.
And then just yesterday (because I was looking for autumn cards to color, I ran across the Penny Black stamp Hello Autumn!

I just love this little girl looking up at the falling leaf.
I decided to add her to the new Color Hues Challenge of pink and purple!
Okay that is it for me, I am done with leaves for now...although I did pull out one more stamp:  Elegant Leaves from Sunny Studios that I might have to ink up!

Happy crafting friends... hope you get to play on World Card Making Day!
Have a super duper weekend!

Heart Hugs, friends!

Gorgeous Autumn cards, Col! LOVE the first one with your new hot foiling system. The gold lines are beautiful as a backdrop for your mix of leaves. So pretty! And LOVE the birthday card with all the leaves ... great layout and colours. But the sweet little girl does steal the show. That is one adorable card! xx

I love Fall too, Col, and these beautiful leaves are one of the reasons! I see a glimmer plate that I need to put on my wish list! It's makes such an elegant background! Love the soft colors of the stenciled leaves and the added dimension! This little girl is such a sweetheart looking at the falling leaf! I always sigh and smile when I see her and the pink and purple are perfect for her!

I have been bitten by the foiling bug but it has yet to fester...LOL. I am still not ready to make the purchase. Love all three of these creations, Col. The first one looks great with the vertical foiled lines, the second one is amazing with the PURPLE...I just may not put my fall leaves away quite yet now that I saw this color idea! As for your final card, that image is darling and I love the way you framed the image with the pink and purple sky! Just a great post all around! Take care and thanks for being with us at Color Hues!
