Hi friends! Today I am hosting the Seize the Birthday Card Challenge and I am asking you to make a card using a sentiment as your focal image!
I had a large sentiment from Mama Elephant that I thought would be perfect for this challenge, and it just so happens I purchased some yummy embossing powder when I was at a retreat in Nashville, Indiana this last October, it is a Ranger EP and called Aqua Tinsel...yes it has glitter in it and it shines up beautifully!
Here is a side few so you can see how pretty this aqua tinsel really is!
I mounted it onto a PTI Hawaiian Shores cardstock and also stamped some of the stars from the same set. Quick and easy kind of card, but it is beautiful with the fun embossing powder!
If you're not a toppings kinda person, well.....you can just
stick with our usual "Anything Goes"Birthday! The choice is yours!
Just remember to keep it a Birthday Theme!
Please visit the design team for more inspiration and also our fabulous Special Party Guest Joyce from Cards by the Sea.
See you in the gallery!!
Heart Hugs, friends!

Wow, that glimmer is great for a simple sentiment. It really makes for some Pizazz. I love the color too.
Beautiful! I love the sparkle of the tinsel embossing powders too. Perfect card for the topping!
Bold and beautiful!!!! Can really see the shine! Hope you are feeling better ad heart hugs all around.
The embossing shines really prettily ! Beautiful color and it matches with the PTI paper perfectly!
Perfect design for the topping, such a great bold sentiment and the added sparkle and shine makes it even more special, Cathy x
Beautiful card, Colleen! I love the shine, and how you've continued the stars onto the base card as well.
The shine is fantastic Colleen and the stars are the perfect accent. Lovely card!
