Barbara is our hostess and she asked for us to make a birthday card with butterflies!
I love butterflies, I plant flowers so that I can attract them to my yard!
This is a PTI set called Color Pop: Butterflies! It was a mini kit and it came with stencils and stamps and the card stock to make the above card...I just needed to fill in all the white space!
I used both stencils and stamps to complete the card, I love how it looks, so bright and festive and definitely full of butterflies!
The sentiment is a stamp and die set also from PTI called Bold & Beautiful.
We encourage you to make a butterfly birthday card, but you are always welcome to make any kind of card as long as it is always a birthday one!
Heart Hugs, friends!

ReplyDeleteAh, I remember this set from PTI - and you've made such a pretty card out of it - the butterflies look so very pretty! And I also like how you've used the die cut negative to stamp your sentiment in.
ReplyDeleteWow - the end result looks like pre-printed paper! Very awesome creation.
ReplyDeleteI really thought you'd made this card with a very beautiful designer paper Colleen! You've made a stunning background and I love the way your sentiment pops against it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like paper for sure! I really love the little flowers and tiny leaves too! Those are the type of stamps that you can add on anything! Super job my friend!
ReplyDeleteOh I remember this kit and I have a similar one for fall. I love that you plant flowers to attract butterflies. I do that too, and also humming birds. Your card is amazing and spot on for this challenge.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, I thought it was patterned paper too! Gorgeous arrangement of butterflies and flowers, Cathy x
ReplyDeleteI too thought it was pattern paper. Love all the pretty and colorful butterflies.
