Baby Wipes on Photo Paper!
We smooshed DOX ink one at a time on photo paper, letting it dry or helping it to dry with heat tool and then smooshing another color and repeating until it has the look you want. When it is dry you
rub over the piece with a baby wipe, moving to a clean spot on the wipe for each swipe.
When dry, place in MISTI and stamp your image with DOX, re-stamp until you are happy with the coverage. Let it thoroughly dry, then wipe again with a clean baby wipe in a circular motion over your newly stamped image. You can stamp a sentiment with StazOn ink if stamping directly on the photo paper.
I think this is a little brighter than it is in real life, but truly when wiping with baby wipes the image just pops and the color intensifies ...it is almost like magic! the background is softer than the first card, but again, easier to see in real life.

Gorgeous Colleen, I love the pop of the flowers over the soft backgrounds. this was such a fun technique :)
All three are absolutely BEAUTIFUL Colleen! Isn't it FUN to try new techniques?! I've done one so far with this technique, but definitely need to do more. Thanks for sharing these beauties...I'm loving seeing all that you gals worked on at the retreat!! :0)
The cards are fantastic. I like those wildflowers and soft tulips but those purple tulips really are the show piece. Just stunning. I tried it on glossy paper and the first try was great. The second time I dried it and wiped with the baby wipe and every bit of color came right off the paper! Imagine my surprise!
Three beautiful cards using this great technique, Colleen!! I love the shine and bright colours once everything is revealed with the baby wipe. Very cool! xx
Great to see different examples of using the baby wipe technique! All are fabulous!
The first card is even more beautiful in real life. Thanks for sending it to me, Col! xoxo
