Playing for fun and The Flower Challenge #24

I have a special friend who lives in Indianapolis and I was lucky enough to meet her face to face a couple of years ago when my granddaughter was playing in a National volleyball tournament in her city!  And it might happen again this summer (fingers crossed!) the teams have to qualify to go, so let's hope she is on a winning team this year!  Anyway, Brenda of Inkspired to Stamp gifted me some die cuts and of course I just ran across them again and decided it was time to put them to use!
I love the white lattice die and think it makes a perfect background for this lovely Hero Arts Nasturtium. The die is called double diamond Card Panel from Frantic Stamper.
And this was another die she sent me, I don't know the name of it, but I think is is lovely with the  lacey edge.  I placed the die and the flower on the card and decided it needed a little something and that something was a stencil...just a little soft touch in some of the spaces.  The flower is a Gina K Whimsical Flowers colored with copics.
Okay, that is two less from my stash...more to use!
And I have to give a big shout out to Brenda because she comes through for me just when I need it!  Sometimes it is a phone call, other times, there is a card in the mail and sometimes there is even a little package!  Like the other day, she sent me a Penny Black die set called pumpkins and leaves...I will be playing with that soon!  Thank you friend for thinking of me...now I am off to Physical Therapy!

I will enter the top card in The Flower Challenge where it is anything goes.
Heart Hugs, friends!

Two beautiful cards, Col with those lovely die cuts that Brenda sent you. I especially love the second one in purples (I know hard to believe). It's really neat to see how we came up with different cards for that nasturtium stamp set. Thanks friend.

Your cards are so beautiful made with these die cuts. I love the yellow one and the lavender is stunning with those lovely flowers. Adding the stenciling just brought out the soft color. The second die cut is from Gina Marie Designs. Thanks for the shout out and I hope you continue to heal and recover so by the time you get back to Indy you are 100%.

Two beauties, Col! Love those nasturtiums that are colored beautifully and make such a cheerful card with the yellow and white background! I love the shades of lavender of the second card! So feminine with the lacy edged die cut!

These are both beautiful, Colleen! I can't believe I only met Brenda (on line) less than a year ago! Where have I been?! You've chosen such gorgeous flowers to pair with those dies, and colored them beautifully!

I may have already told you that! :) LOVE the second card with the gorgeous lacey panel and the soft stenciled backgrounds that work perfectly with your flowers. Beautiful cards, my friend! xx
