CAS Mix Up Card Challenge September

I wanted to share some of my cards from crafty friends  wishing me luck and good thoughts with this new knee of mine.  I am coming up on 4 weeks and making progress.  Still not driving mainly because my knee doesn't bend and it hurts to bend it, I think if I had to react fast, I couldn't...I don't mind not driving.  I have several chauffeurs available! *wink  Between my husband and my two daughters they get me to PT.  And I have even been to visit my 96 year old Dad!
This total knee joint replacement rehab is not for the faint of heart let me tell you!  I can barely do anything the next day after the therapist has worked me over.  Not that I mind (well, yes, I really don't like pain!) but it is all part of the necessary evil to get my knee to bend and also to straighten so I don't have a limp the rest of my life.  However, my nerves are coming back to life, so my leg, down my shins are getting a lot of what I call electrical shocks..I told my husband they were like needles and pins and it is quite annoying.  The other annoying thing is having to sleep and lay on my back ALL the time.  I will be so happy when I can roll over and not have an ice bag on my knee throughout the night!
But you didn't come  here to listen to me whine, did you?  So I made a simple card for the CAS Mix Up Card challenge September!
I have had this Penny Black stamp forever and love it and thought it would be perfect to use with my Tombow marker.  It is a wooden stamp, so I had to use a stamp positioner to stamp the flower.

I am managing to get into the studio for short bursst of time, then I have to lay down, put my toes above my nose and ice the knee...and usually take a nap too!  *wink  All is good friends but I will be a happy camper in about 8 more weeks, my PT guy says 12 weeks total..I am holding him to that!
I used Tombow markers on the rubber stamp, I die cut a frame and I stamped a sentiment.

Heart Hugs, friends!

So many people are thinking of you and wishing you a speedy recovery and it sounds like you are doing your part. I'm glad you are getting out a bit and especially getting into the craft room. That is a big part of your recovery. This is such a pretty card and a beautiful entry. Keep up the good work and grit your teeth (not so much it grinds them down though).
