This is the last challenge for the 2017 year! Hasn't it been great to play along and get acquainted with more mixed media for our cards? And I love that it has to be Clean and Simple (CAS) and yet we learn new techniques all the time. So here we go with a card for the December 2017 CAS Mix Up Challenge. I did the tissue paper technique from Loll's blog which you can find HERE.
I die cut the row of trees and stamped and embossed the sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by friends, I always enjoy your visits. This is a quiet Sunday for me, which I love, who knows what the new week will bring!
Heart Hugs, friends!

Gorgeous card Colleen!! Great job watercolouring on tissue paper. Love your blue sky with the mist from the heat embossing. Sweet winter scene. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx
Your watercolored tissue paper made a wonderful sky for your star and sweet row of winter pines Colleen! And the sentiment is perfect with the silver embossing! Thanks for playing with us in the CAS Mix Up! Julia xx

Thanks so much for joining us at CAS Mix Up!
Your tree line against the beautiful tissue background is gorgeous. The star just adds dimension along with the wrinkles in the tissue. That is the greatest technique and you did a fantastic job with it.
This tissue paper technique makes the perfect sky, Colleen! So pretty with the die cut trees! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
