MIM 286 Coordinating Card Pairs

Hi friends!  I am up here in Seattle with my BFF and having fun with some new techniques and playing hard!  I came up for my granddaughter's volleyball tournament at the U of W.  Her team took first place in the Bronze division of the Emerald City Classic...super accomplishment as they had two girls quit before coming up here.  But they played great together and had an awesome time...always helps to go home winners though!
This card is for the new MIM # 286 Coordinating Card pairs... using the same image on two different cards...one is stamped the other is die cut.
Stamps and dies: Life is Beautiful, Beautiful Butterflies (sentiment).

I brought with me some Deco foil transfer gel and some Gina K Fancy foils and some Foil Mates.
We had fun using the laminater and making lots of card faces with the shiny foil.

Gina K foil mates: elegant florals, wild lilac (color) which doesn't photograph very well. and WPlus9 Modern Anemones.

Gina K:  Polka Party, turquoise sea, Fail Mate: Birthday Essentials

Gina K elegant florals, Poppy stamp:  Friends & Flowers..bow from Linda's ribbon stash!

Gina K: Polka Party and a light sea green foil from Linda's stash, PTI Gran's Garden, Graceful Greetings
That's it friends!  Thanks for stopping by and visiting!

                                                                  Hugs, friends!

Your butterfly cards are simply lovely Colleen, but I am downright jealous of all the other beauties with the foiling!! I have loved all of Jennifer's cards using the foiling, but just haven't wanted to invest in a laminator...maybe I need to re-think that after seeing ALL your GORGEOUS cards! I think you and Lin are having way too much fun together!! Actually very happy you get to spend this time together and love seeing all the results of your crafty time!! :0)

Wow~ What a treat to find a whole line up of beautiful cards! Your butterfly cards are so pretty and what a different look each of them has on different backgrounds. The foiled cards are all stunning! I've never foiled before but these cards look like it would be fun to try. Congrats to your granddaughters! So fun that you and Lin can be crafty together. Have fun!

These are just beautiful. I love how you made the foiled panels into cards. They are all just lovely. I am waiting for my transfer gel to arrive and I have ton of foil just panting to be used. I can hear you and Linda laughing and having a great time from here! The two butterfly cards are so pretty. It always amazes me how different a die cut can look on different backgrounds.

These are all gorgeous! My hat is off to you for getting such good photos! I can never get a good photo of foil. It looks black instead of shiny and pretty! And I love your pair of butterfly cards!
