Hi friends, here we are into our third month of the year and how are you doing with making your Christmas cards? Please check out the Merry Monday Christmas challenge blog and see all the inspiration over there! This week Sue is looking for a lamp post to be on our card! and I have a stamp set that has a lamp post!! Yeah, score for me!
I tried to think outside the box and come up with something different for me...I don't do many shaker cards so I thought I should try one for this card and I am glad I did!
I cut my scalloped frame four times, then glued three of them together and placed a piece of my clear acrylic on top and glued the last frame piece...that allowed for the depth I needed so my little beads and sequins could actually shake! And the really awesome way about doing a shaker this way is there is no sticky sides from foam tape to prevent the insides to stick and not move around!
My lamp post was from WPlus9 Iconic Christmas
My trees are Altenew Snowing Pine Trees
I used PPP sequins and marshmallow seed beads and dazzle it white glass beads!
I couldn't resist a few iridescent snowflakes in the corner.
And of course I used distress ink for my sky background, splatters some water and also some white acrylic paint. The hills were cut using Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders.
What you join us this week?
Heart Hugs, friends!

LOVE your shaker card, Colleen. Such a beautiful winter scene. Thanks for the tip on making shaker cards ... I haven't had any luck and always have the sequins sticking to the sides of my foam tape. Will have to give this a try!! xx
