I was putting way a lot of Christmas trees from my mantle and a BIG chalkboard that I drew houses and a church along with snowflakes and trees when what to my wondering eyes should appear but bubble wrap in the plastic bin!! YEAH!! All I had were really big bubbles which didn't work at all so I was tickled pink to find these treasure in time for Darnell's 10th NBUS challenge. And since I added a little snippet from VERVE's "Love from Me free Digi, I am entering this card there also!
I dropped a bit of alcohol ink onto my small bubble wrap and then put a piece of Yupo paper on top, that is how I got those splashes of color. They really didn't remind me of anything, so I just decided to add the die cut word: LOVE (PTI: Wonderful Words: Love) after I colored in my paper using two of the colors from my dots.
I added the hearts down towards the sentiment which is one of many on the VERVE blog for the free DIGI, which is only available until Feb 14!
And there you have it...a Valentines card using bubble wrap! Thanks Darnell for the inspiration!!
Heart Hugs, friends!

This is such a sweet card Colleen! Great job using the bubble wrap. Love the vibrant colours of the alcohol inks! xx
Fun colorful alcohol inks using your bubble wrap and additional AI drops. I love how your digi sentiment added more fun. TFS Colleen. Hugs
Beautiful fun card using bubble wrap, Colleen!!
What a fun and bright card Colleen! You asked how I got such perfect circles using the bubble wrap on my card...I did not use Yupo or shiny cardstock...the wet ink moves around too much (at least for me!). I used regular and smooth water color cardstock, and also just regular re-inkers and not alcohol inks. Anyway, that's what worked for me! :0)
Such a fun card. Love that fun background.
Cute card. Love the background and how you used just the love from the digital sentiment.
I love the wild and artsy results you achieved with your bubble wrap, Colleen, and the colors are so great! It's a sensational Valentine! Thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #10 and joining in the optional theme!! Hugs, Darnell
