Seize the Birthday joins the Altenew Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop!!

Seize the Birthday was asked to join in an Altenew Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop!
And we were so excited to join in the fun, not to mention being so honored to be asked!!  I used the new "Remember This" stamp set and I selectively fussy cut the left side and the bottom.
I needed a thank you card for some family members who made all of our food for a big Italian family reunion (71 in attendance!) and thought this card would be extra special for them.  And these ladies are in their 70's...I think they crashed the next day and probably didn't move too much.  But that is how they are...they give and give and do it all out of LOVE!  And we love them for it and appreciate them so much!
My dad who is going to by 95 asked for a thank you card he could send them, because we were honoring him turning 95 years old, and they really made it a special meal.
So this will be sent to the two sisters who did most of the work, but many other hands were involved in the planning and cooking of the meal, not to mention the clean-up!  You know what they say, it takes a village to feed an Italian family!!  (they do say that don't they? *wink)

Head over to the Seize the Birthday Blog and check out the hop!

Heart Hugs, friends!

I can only imagine what a delicious meal it was, but I am Italian too, so I don't have to think too hard. I know they is a lot of work, but it is the love of the family gathering that these women cook for. What a lovely card to thank them for all of the work that it took to make a wonderful 95th birthday memory.
