It has been quite a while since I have had a chance to play along with this sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. Since I try to send a card to each of my three aunts every month, this card is for St. Patrick's Day...and then I type a nice letter to go inside to give the aunts chit chat about what my family is up to...notes on all the grandchildren and I also keep them posted on their brother, my dad who will be 91 this fall. His sisters are going to be 93, 89 and a SIL will be 90 this year...isn't that amazing?? And they so love getting my cards and especially the letter filled with wonderful family stories...it is a way to keep connected. They all live in the Seattle, Washington area and I am down here in the Portland, Oregon area so we don't get to see each other very often, but I send them cards often...So here is the card for the sketch:
The stamps are from Verve called "Lucky You" it has four sizes of shamrocks and 5 sentiments and there are four dies to go with each shamrock. Inside the card it reads: "May your BLESSINGS outnumber the Shamrocks that grow"...and I think at their age, they are indeed a blessing to our family!
