Another card for Freshly Made Sketches and even though I have sent out all my Christmas cards, I just can't seem to stop making those cards...so maybe I am ahead of the game for next year!! Check out the site, there are some great cards for this sketch...and the designers have wonderful inspiration cards.
First I colored my "bricks" with copics, using about 4 different colors, then using the blender pen I drew in the mortar lines for the bricks. I cut a piece of coaster board and embossed it with a wood grain, then I dabbed on some pearl Dabber acrylic paint to give a nice shine for the mantle...the paper is from Basic Grey/Nordic Holiday.

What a great card Colleen! I love that stocking. Great background. I cannot believe you already sent all your cards! Wow. I haven't even finished HALF of the cards I wanted to make, so I will be sending non-home made ones as well :-(
Hugs, Jose
PS I ordered some goodies from MFT and they are on their way to you!
